Kevin Kunze

Activist and award-winning filmmaker Kevin Kunze developed his skills at the young age of 7 making his first film with his father's old home movie camera. While in high school Kunze directed and edited films for India's national television network Doordarshan, the New York International Children's Film Festival, and the Westport Arts Center

Kunze's latest clients include: Google/Iridescent, NASA Ames/Singularity University, Microcinema InternationalHow-to HomesteadPinnacle Communications, and MastaMind Productions. In 2008, Kunze joined the Board of Directors for RevitalArts, one of the only student run non-profit organizations in the United States, which produces several annual theatre, music, and film programs including the Stratford Film Festival.

In 2010, Kunze screened his first feature film, Id at the Red Vic Theater in San Francisco, a day before his 21st birthday. Others theaters and venues where Kunze's films have been shown include: Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive, Casoria International Contemporary Art Museum, and all around the world. In 2011, the San Francisco Public Library collaborated with Kunze and screened several of his short films throughout the past decade. His latest film Disconnect, is an investigative documentary about cell phones and the negative health effects.
