Disconnect: A Film About Cellphones & Radiation

Disconnect is a documentary investigating the potential health effects of cell phones. I became interested in this controversial issue when I first met Ellie Marks, who's husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This was just the tip of the iceberg for me....So far, I've interviewed neurological doctors, professors, and researchers at Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, and the University of San Francisco.

I've also filmed discussions with senior scientists at the Environmental Working Group and Environmental Health Trust as well as the directors of the California Brain Tumor Association and the Toxics Reduction San Francisco Department of the Environment Toxics Reduction division. However, it is still not enough to make a significant impact. A majority of the research on this issue has been done outside of the United States and there are many specialists around the world whom I still feel the obligation to interview. But how can I afford to fly when I can hardly pay off my student loans? IndieGoGo!
